The Bellettes added five talented freshmen this year and didn’t lose any seniors last year. They started our competition season at two regional competitions at Charleston and Marion. They also had the privilege of hosting IHSA sectionals in the Enlow Center, where the team placed 6th and advanced to the IHSA State Finals! For the first time in many years, the team also competed at the IDTA State Finals where they were crowned Class 1A JAZZ STATE CHAMPIONS!
Two seniors, Emma Tingley and Annie Strullmyer, also qualified for IDTA State with their solo performances and performed beautifully on the state floor. The team went onto the floor during each game and competition and proved how passionate and talented they are. During this entire season, the Bellettes did a fantastic job representing St. Anthony High School with their dedication, professionalism, and perseverance!
