Spanish Club Raises Funds for Local Animal Shelter

St. Anthony High School’s Spanish Club recently held a successful bake sale in the school cafeteria to benefit local animal welfare organizations. The event, which took place during lunch hours, attracted numerous students and staff members.

Following the initial sale, donations continued to pour in, resulting in a grand total of $822.25 in cash and approximately $100 worth of goods. The club split the proceeds between Animal Control and the Effingham County Humane Society. This yearly fundraiser, led by Mrs. Keller, helps support animals in need within the community and reflects the students’ efforts to contribute to local causes.
