The 2024-25 season was one for the record books for the Cheer Team. There were 19 Cheerleaders on the team who practiced all Summer and Fall to prepare for the season. At each and every game, the team led the crowd in cheers from the sidelines and executed both old and new floor cheers to entertain the fans.
Not only did the team take Bulldog Country to State this year, but the Cheer Team had a trophy of their own to go after. Only two weeks prior to the NTC Tournament, we were informed there would be a cheer competition. After some extra practices, the St. A Cheer Team walked away with the first annual NTC Cheerleading Trophy!
The team was led by five seniors, and we wish them the best in their future endeavors: Katie Wrigley, Taylor Miller, Camille Wines, Ava Walton, and Anna Greene. Thanks to all of our fans who cheered along with us this season. We look forward to incorporating new material next season and also adding in the old-school cheers so many of our fans remember from “back in the day.”
