Girls Basketball Season Recap

The Lady Bulldogs made history in the 2024-2025 season, finishing with a 28-5 record, the best in school history. Their dominance included back-to-back NTC regular season and tournament championships, as well as their fourth consecutive Regional Championship and a spot in the Sweet 16 for the third time in school history.

The senior class, consisting of Addi Nuxoll, Ava Faber, Adysen Rios, Kallie Kabbes, and Katie Kollman, concluded their high school careers as the winningest class in school history, with a career record of 103-20. Their leadership and contributions were key to the team’s success this season.

Nancy Ruholl had an exceptional year, averaging 22 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals per game. She earned 1st Team IBCA All-State honors, broke the school’s single-season scoring record, and surpassed Mike Wente’s all-time scoring record, becoming the top scorer in school history. Adysen Rios stepped up in a big way, averaging 13.9 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals, and earning 1st Team All-NTC and 3rd Team IBCA All-State honors.

Key contributors also included Addi Nuxoll, who anchored the defense with an average of 7 points and 7 rebounds per game, and Addie Lauritzen, a breakout sophomore who scored a career-high 22 points against Salem. Lilly Gannaway, the team’s point guard, played a crucial role in keeping the offense flowing, and Aubrey Denning, the JV MVP, looks to make an impact on the varsity team next season.

The Lady Bulldogs’ historic season set a high bar for the future, with a strong core returning next year and a legacy of success that will inspire years to come.
