The St. Anthony Bass Fishing Team had a strong postseason, highlighted by an impressive run from Keegan and Addie Overbeck.
At the IHSA Regional Tournament at Newton Lake, Colin Maag and Axton Lankford finished 12th with a 12.13-pound bag, while Keegan and Addie Overbeck earned 2nd place with 15.09 pounds to advance to Sectionals. At Clinton Lake, the brother-sister duo brought in a five-fish limit weighing 11.03 pounds, finishing 9th and qualifying for the IHSA State Championship Tournament at Lake Shelbyville.
At State, Keegan and Addie competed against the top anglers in Illinois and finished 17th out of more than 60 boats. They brought in a five-fish limit on day one and added a three-fish bag on day two, finishing with a combined two-day total of 20 pounds, 1 ounce. Congratulations to the Bulldog anglers on a successful season and impressive state appearance.
