The St. Anthony Boys Track & Field team showed resilience throughout the 2025 season, competing hard despite a smaller roster and late-season injuries.
With a smaller roster of just 14 athletes and a few key injuries late in the season, the Bulldogs remained competitive, placing third at both the NTC Conference Meet and the Shelbyville Invitational.
Six seniors provided leadership and dedication throughout the year: Evan Meyer, Noah Flaig, Conner Croy, Harrison Miller, Calvin Sudkamp, and Maddox Wiedman.
Three athletes advanced to the IHSA State Championships. Freshman Camden Bloemer competed in the 3200-meter run, placing 33rd with a time of 10:46.31. Seniors Noah Flaig and Calvin Sudkamp capped off their careers with strong performances—Flaig placed 19th in the 800-meter run (2:03.24), and Sudkamp earned an 8th place medal in the high jump with a mark of 6’2” (1.88m).
End-of-season honors were awarded to several team leaders: Eli Hiatt received MVP for running events, Noah Flaig earned the Mr. Hustle Award, and Calvin Sudkamp was recognized with both the Bulldog Award and MVP for field events.
