Discipleship Seniors Wrap Up Year with Special Field Trip

Six seniors in the Discipleship Intensive elective capped off their year with a special trip to the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis and the St. Louis Zoo, accompanied by Mr. Sean Hussey and his family.

The outing was a fitting end to a unique year-long course that emphasizes Catholic habit-building and personal spiritual growth. Part of St. Anthony High School’s new theology curriculum, the Discipleship class meets off-campus and includes early morning Mass, adoration, daily prayer, and scripture reading.

Designed to deepen students’ faith and understanding, the new theology program offers a range of engaging electives for juniors and seniors. Discipleship, in particular, gives students the opportunity to grow in community while developing a lasting relationship with Christ.
