The St. Anthony Softball team wrapped up the 2025 season with a 12-14 overall record and a strong 6-2 finish in conference play, earning second place in the NTC tournament. The Lady Bulldogs battled through a tough schedule that included top programs like Casey-Westfield, Highland, and Tolono Unity, preparing them for postseason play with grit and resilience.
Despite a heartbreaking injury to senior standout Ady Rios in the final week, the team never stopped fighting. Rios, who will continue her softball career at Eastern Illinois University, finished her senior season hitting .486 and set a new single-season school record with 38 stolen bases. She ends her career second all-time in both runs scored (145) and stolen bases (85).
Three players earned NTC All-Conference honors: Ady Rios and Julia Schultz (1st Team), Camille Wines (2nd Team), and Ava Walton (Honorable Mention). Rios, Wines (.408), and Schultz (.402) all batted over .400 on the season.
Seven seniors—Kallie Kabbes, Ava Faber, Camille Wines, Ady Rios, Ava Walton, Ella Johnson, and Katie Kollman—leave behind a legacy of heart, teamwork, and determination. We wish the best to those continuing their softball journeys in college.
Thank you to the parents and fans for your incredible support all season long—your commitment makes a lasting impact. Go Lady Bulldogs!
