The girls tennis team had a fantastic 2024 season, finishing with a 10-1 record. Their only loss came in a close 4-5 match against Flora. The team claimed the Charger Doubles title, took 2nd at the St. Anthony and SHG invites, placed 2nd at sectionals, and finished 12th at state.
Juniors Mia Kinkelaar and Ellie Link shone at #1 doubles, winning sectionals and placing 7th at state. Liv Hoene and sophomore Nora Trupiano also qualified for state in doubles, while Julia Schultz placed 4th in singles at sectionals. Senior Anna Greene provided leadership at #5 singles and #2 doubles.
The team’s top six players each logged over 40 matches, with standout Ellie Link competing in 61. Congratulations to the Bulldogs and Coaches Darlene Esker and Brandon Blake on an outstanding season!
