It Runs in the Family

SAHS freshman runner, Isabella Keller, standing at 4 feet 8 inches, had a remarkable season in 2023, culminating in her first Class 1A state championship win with a time of 16:26.2 on three-mile courses. Her unbeaten streak throughout the season showcased her exceptional talent, and her state meet victory was not only impressive but also the fastest time of the day across all classes.

Keller continued to shine with outstanding performances at the Nike Cross Nationals Midwest Regional, where she secured third place, and at the NXN Final, finishing eighth in 17:43.4 and earning Second Team All-America honors. Her achievements extended beyond these races, as she also broke five-course records previously held by her sister, Anna Sophia Keller, a two-time Gatorade State Player of the Year winner in her own right.
