School Cook – Full-Time

St. Anthony Grade School is seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our kitchen staff.

Job Description

As a full-time kitchen staff member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school’s food service program. Our hot lunch program serves over 450 meals daily.  Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and serving meals to students and staff
  • Assisting with food preparation, such as chopping, slicing, and mixing ingredients
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Following established recipes and portion control standards

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive and friendly demeanor

Hours

Hours are 7:00 am – 2:00 pm daily and follows the school schedule from August through May.  Specific hours may vary based on school calendar and operational needs.
