The St. Anthony Boys Tennis team, under Coaches Darlene Esker and Brandon Blake, closed out an impressive 2025 season with a 14-4 overall record, showcasing consistency, depth, and strong leadership across the roster.
The Bulldogs competed in three tournaments throughout the spring, earning a 2nd place finish at the Robinson Doubles Tournament where the duo of Manaye Mossman and Joey B. Trupiano took home the #1 doubles title. They also placed 3rd at the Mattoon Tournament, while the Sacred Heart Griffin Invitational was unfortunately cut short due to rain.
At the IHSA Sectional, St. Anthony earned a 4th place team finish, highlighted by Mossman and Trupiano capturing the doubles championship and advancing to the State Tournament. There, the senior pairing capped off their high school careers with an impressive 7th place finish in the state.
The team featured a strong group of seniors—Manaye Mossman, Joey B. Trupiano, Connor Eggers, Ethan Karolewicz, Joey C. Trupiano, and Bodey Rietz—whose leadership and contributions will be greatly missed.
